Map Of Channel Islands Marine Protected Areas Now Available

The California Department of Fish & Game has posted a map of the newly-created 175 square mile marine reserve on their website at http://www.dfg.ca.gov/mrd/channel_islands/ci_finalmap.html.

The marine reserves extend around portions of state waters surrounding the five islands that form the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary off the coast of Santa Barbara: Anacapa, Santa Cruz, San Miguel, Santa Rosa and Santa Barbara Islands.
